In collaboration with EQ Software and the Bathroom Manufacturers Association, the kbbNTG has launched courses in kitchen and bathroom design principles and project management. The two-day courses are aimed at professional kitchen and bathroom designers, as well as new entrants into the kitchen and bathroom markets.
The first day of each course focuses on design principles and guides delegates through the process from taking a client brief preparing a survey, through to a working plan and presenting the design. The course has been designed to create an awareness of Building Regulations, design trends and techniques, with practical sessions. On day two, both ofthe courses look at how to manage a project from quoting to completion, and through to customer sign-off. It will include how to build the quotation, creating and managing project milestones, tracking proht margin, installation timelines, as well as invoicing and payments.
On completion of the courses, candidates will be awarded industry-recognised certificates of achievement, accredited by the National Training Group which will count towards CPD targets, The Kitchen Design Principles and Project Management course will take place on April 17-18, while the Bathroom Design Principles and Project Management course will take place on May 2-3. Both of the courses will be held at EQ Softwares head office in Tamworth, Warwickshire and are priced £299+VAT, with KBSA retailers qualifying for a 10% discount.
