Smeg team climbs for charity

A team of 20 walkers from Smeg is preparing for the National Three Peaks Challenge in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest three peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, all within 24- hours.

They will start their challenge on Ben Nevis, then climb Scafell Pike and finish at the summit of Snowdon. The team has already started training by hiking 16 miles across the South Downs in Hampshire. This will be followed by the peaks of the Brecon Beacons and Scafell Pike in preparation for the Three Peaks in june. Smeg employees will be holding a number of fundraising charity events throughout 2012 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
